“I purchased the 12,000 BTU 115V so I could install it in my garage without an electrician, it heats and cools very quickly. I bought 12gauge wire to handle 20amp per the manual and wired that into a 20amp outlet plug instead of working directly to the breaker box. since garages in my residential area have standard 20amp breaker it was easy to use 12gauge 20amp wire and a 20amp outlet. ”

“We put it in our converted garage and it cools it down very well. It’s about a 300 square foot room. I put a fan in the doorway during the summer when it’s super hot and it helps cool off the main room and kitchen as well. We just wanted to take some pressure off the main unit and it works better than we expected. We self installed it. I didn’t know anything about AC stuff but you can definitely figure it out on YouTube. . ”

I estimate it costs me about $1 a day to run. Hard to watch TV when it's on high fan so l set it to low. Awesome wifi works from a remote but l use the app on my phone. Definitely 5 star. ”
