The kit is a wonderful idea for DIY. Unfortunately, the sight glass on the pump I received was broken when I removed it from box. I didn’t realize it until I had a puddle of oil on my table. I had to go rent an automotive pump to replace it. Other than the shipping mix up, great product.

As both an installer and an owner, I can honestly say this is a very well-engineered product. The amount of attention given to even the smallest details is impressive and shows a real respect for the installer's time.Little things stand out immediately, such as the self-capturing rubber mounts with the bolts already aligned and ready to tighten. They even include a spirit level and clear, easy-to-follow instructions, which makes installation straightforward from the start.The indoor unit is equally well thought out. The mounting plate and unit fit together perfectly, and the removable bottom panel provides easy access to the latches when needed. It's obvious that considerable effort went into the design and usability of this system.Performance has been excellent so far. The unit is exceptionally quiet, and the temperatures are holding exactly where I set them. Overall, this is a quality product from a brand that clearly puts thought into both installation and day-to-day operation. Definitely a brand I would recommend.

Everything went as planned. It took me all summer because I only worked when I had time and when it wasn’t too hot. I did it all. I only had trouble with the torque wrench. It’s possible it was my fault. I do have limited electrical experience. I have hvac observation experience but this was my first start to finish experience. The location where I put the units made it more difficult but I’m very pleased.

In LOVE!! Such an amazing brand with great features! If you're looking for an affordable brand mini-split that's precharged, this is the one. Learn how to vacuum the line yourself or hire an HVAC tech. I'd consider this over the other Mr. Cool brands. Installation is a breeze if you're a little handy. These are just as " DIY '' as the others. Very quiet and has great performance!

The kit had everything you needed for the install. Even with the torque wrench, I would still start on the lower end of the recommended torque to prevent over tightening and go from there.
The new PCB seems to have taken care of the outside condenser not coming on. The unit is up and running. However the new PCB board did not take care of the thermostat issue. Which I just turn the unit off when the room reaches desired temperature.
Rental kit worked great, the installation video could have been better!

Della is a great company to work with. I purchased a 5 zone mini split with ceiling cassettes and took my time installing it according to the instructions and with the Della supplied rental kit. Whenever I had questions along the way Della representatives and technical support operators would either answer the call or if busy would call me back to assist. Once the install was done I was pleased with its quiet efficient operation. I highly recommend Della for their products and their support and im confident that should a problem arise, Della will be there to assist just as they have been through the DIY install.

Bought this unit, and absolutely love it!! WELL WORTH IT!! I had a prior portable AC that was noisy and this thing is so much quieter. I will say it’s the quietest in night mode and that’s what I use when I’m working from home during the day. Even in night mode it still keeps the room comfortable - I stay covered up all day. When not in night mode you can tell difference but it’s no where near as loud as my other. Cools nicely, quiet, sleek looking and an all around great product! Couldn’t recommend more! Go ahead and buy it!
I’m obsessed with the Della air-conditioning. I bought two of them one for my eight-year-old mother’s bedroom and one for the guest room where I’m staying temporarily it’s been a lifesaver and it’s so cute and modern and so easy to set up. I couldn’t recommend it more.

This was my first time installing a ductless mini split, and I have to say—I was seriously impressed with how easy it was! I used the installation kit from Della, and the entire install only took me about 2 hours. I went with the 12,000 BTU 110V model, and it has been awesome. It keeps the room nice and cool even on hot days, but what really surprised us was the heat function. My wife absolutely loves it! If you’ve been shopping around, comparing brands, reading reviews, and trying to decide which mini split to buy, stop overthinking it. You could already have this thing installed and be enjoying it! Hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. Highly recommend!

I have a shop that is insulated and has 13' ceilings. I was not expecting this unit to manage the entire space, but just to knock down the temperature a little bit. I was wrong. We've had some 105 F days in the last week. It will hold the temp at 70 or 72 F all day and generally does not run at full capacity. In other words, it will cycle down the compressor depending on the load. I self-installed the indoor and outdoor units and had an HVAC tech cut and vacuum the lines, charge it, and do the final testing. All in, this saved me $12,000 from several quotes I had received. There is a parts lifetime warranty, but you need to read it to make sure you qualify. I uploaded all of the documentation and photos to register the unit. It has only been 3 weeks, but so far so good. If I have issues, I'll update.

The process was very easy and stress-free. After getting several quotes from HVAC companies wanting $10-$12,000 and 4 to 5000 of that was the new unit that had less features and was probably less quality than the unit I bought from Della. The unit was installed by an HVAC professional. He kept asking what was the brand again? I am so impressed. The lawn set is nicer than I’ve ever used. Not to mention the Lineset cover is probably the best I’ve ever seen. The system was fairly easy to install and get running without any issue. The only thing I had a little bit of trouble with was getting the Wi-Fi set up so it would work with the app. It took several tries, but finally it did work and everything has been working perfectly ever since me and my wife have already decided that for our downstairs unit we’re gonna buy another Della that’s how much we love it! The only disappointing thing is most HVAC companies will not install a unit that they don’t sell themselves because they want to mark the unit up and make you pay that 3 to 4 times what it’s actually worth price so just know that that it’s gonna be hard to find a HVAC person if you want it professionally installed to install it for you so you don’t have to do it yourself and rent the rental package and do all that work yourself, to be honest, the lawn set is the hardest part, which is why I wanted a professional to install it. Everything I bought, and so far from Della’s been high-quality plus their customer service is really good as well.

Works great. Arrived sooner than I thought it would, once it arrived I read the directions and it took me about 3 to 4 hours to install and start cooling my shop. 18’x28’. I would definitely recommend.

I was specifically looking for a 5000 BTU air conditioner that has smart functionality built in. I have a smaller spare bedroom that I keep one of my pets in crated during the day when we're at work and there've been a few times where I was concerned that I didn't turn the air conditioner on or just worried how warm the room might be. Due to the heat waves this summer. This 5000 BTU really fit the bill. The price was great. Product works great. I love the smart app, I really couldn't ask for more.
The install was straight forward. This was my first mini split install. The directions were good and made it difficult to install wrong. The rental kit was a big help with tube inserts to prevent kinking the line set. I will change out the condensate drains for pvc.
These units are very easy to install, very affordable, efficient, and look great.
