What kind of refrigerant does this unit use?

This unit uses R32 refrigerant. This unit comes pre-charged with R32 refrigerant for up to 24.5 feet of lineset. If your installation does not exceed this length, no additional refrigerant is needed.

Can I get longer extensions for this installation kit?

Yes, you can purchase a longer lineset separately. If you buy it together with the Single Zone Mini split system, you’ll receive a 10% bundle discount. Please note, if the extended lineset is longer than 25 feet, additional refrigerant will be required. Make sure to consult a professional HVAC technician for proper installation.

When the unit is in auto mode, what will the room's temperature be maintained at?

When auto mode is turned on, the ac will start the unit's cooling mode to begin cooling until the target temp is met. After that, the unit will switch to dry mode for a short time. The final step switches to the fan-only mode that saves energy.

Do the condenser lines come pre-vacuumed or do they have to be vacuumed?

The mini split condenser and lines are not pre-vacuumed. You will need to vacuum the system during installation to remove air and moisture before releasing the refrigerant—this is essential for proper operation and longevity. Install was good and works well. The only issue I ran into was the cap that covered the lines going thru the wall. It interfered with the head unit. So I used it on the outside wall. It might have been nice if a wall pass thru was included. I would like to have a higher fan rate for "turbo" since I'm using this in a workshop. I had a few issues with connecting to my wifi but Della took care of it to my satisfaction. We will see how it works when it is 100degs outside.
