“I purchased the 12,000 BTU 115V so I could install it in my garage without an electrician, it heats and cools very quickly. I bought 12gauge wire to handle 20amp per the manual and wired that into a 20amp outlet plug instead of working directly to the breaker box. since garages in my residential area have standard 20amp breaker it was easy to use 12gauge 20amp wire and a 20amp outlet. ”

I put a fan in the doorway during the summer when it’s super hot and it helps cool off the main room and kitchen as well. We just wanted to take some pressure off the main unit and it works better than we expected. We self installed it. “It works! My sunroom has full east, south and west exposure. I was able to use the room all summer! If the heater is as efficient l will be really happy. I estimate it costs me about $1 a day to run. Hard to watch TV when it's on high fan so l set it to low. Awesome wifi works from a remote but l use the app on my phone. Definitely 5 star. ”
So far so good! First I installed the condenser unit on the wall but the vibration made a little humming noise. Then I installed a platform with vibration stands and the noise totally went away. I currently have it set up on a daily schedule and it keeps my sunroom at 73 degrees in 20 degree weather. Now I can watch sports and movies in the sunroom comfortably.
The instructions differ slightly from the recommended video installation (the 5 second release of pressure was done on the low side in the video while it was on the high side port in the instruction manual).
This was my 3rd purchase and plan on making more! Great product.
We just got it installed today. Ran the AC just a short while to make sure it works. Seemed to work great.. Anxious to see how it heats up when gets cold again.
