6 Zone Mini Split

Models in this collection are listed for approximately 2,100–2,700 sq. ft., depending on the outdoor unit and indoor unit configuration. Coverage is only a starting point. Climate, ceiling height, insulation, windows, and the heating and cooling load of each room also affect sizing.

Size each room separately instead of dividing the outdoor unit’s capacity evenly among six zones. Current wall-mounted systems use 6K, 9K, 12K, or 18K indoor units, while concealed ducted systems use 9.5K, 11K, 17K, or 22K air handlers.

For example, a 6K + 9K + 9K + 9K + 9K + 9K setup suits one smaller room and five medium-sized rooms. A 6K + 6K + 6K + 6K + 9K + 18K setup suits four smaller rooms, one medium-sized room, and one larger space. Confirm the final configuration with a room-by-room load calculation.

A 48,000 BTU system may suit six rooms with lower combined heating and cooling loads. A 55,000 BTU system provides more outdoor capacity and is available with wall-mounted, ceiling cassette, or concealed ducted indoor units.

Choose based on the load of all six rooms rather than total square footage alone. A larger outdoor unit does not replace proper indoor unit sizing.

• Wall-mounted mini splits: Provides direct room-by-room comfort without ductwork.
• Ceiling cassette mini splits: Saves wall space and distributes air in multiple directions.
• Concealed ducted mini splits: Hides the indoor units above a ceiling or in an attic and supplies air through short ducts.

Line sets are optional. Select “Without Line Set” or add a separate line set for each indoor unit. Available lengths vary by configuration. Common options include 16, 25, 33, and 50 ft, with 10 ft available for select units.

Measure all six routes before ordering because each zone may need a different length. Line sets longer than 25 ft require additional refrigerant. Confirm the required refrigerant charge in the product manual and use a qualified HVAC professional for installation.
