Installed my 27k BTU 2 zone unit about a month ago and so far I'm very happy with it. Install instructions were decent, one thing to pay attention to is the width of the included escutcheon for the line set. They include one for inside and one outside. I found it to be too wide and stuck out past the inside wall unit, had to remove the unit off the wall and trim it down. Lay the escutcheon on the cardboard template before you install it and see how much needs trimming.
Hooking up the lines was relatively easy, just follow the instructions on torquing the lines to spec, draw a vacuum and follow their procedure for checking for leaks. I have my own vacuum pump and gauges but if you don't they offer a rental service for those. The line set covers I used were found on Amazon, makes the install look nice and neat.
I was surprised with just how quiet these units are, on the lower fan speeds you can barely hear them. Same goes for the outside condensor, it's just about as quiet as the inside ones!
I'd definitely buy this again and am thinking about getting another to cover the other half of the house
I installed the unit in a standard 12x12x12x12x12 pentagon with two floors, 11’ ceilings! The floor, walls and roof are treated with spray foam for an ideal space to cool. I have the unit set to “dry out mode. In 5 1/2 days the unit has removed 11 mop buckets of moisture. The bottom floor (foamed) suffered several heavy rain showers…. I drilled holes in the subfloor to allow the unit to extract that trapped moisture. Overall, I am quite pleased with my Della unit! I would give it a 5, but feel like that would be a chump move. Statesboro Georgia is, in legendary Coach ERK Russel’s words, the gnat capital of the world. Gnats love heat and humidity, so does my Bella Della!

After Ohming out factory wiring, I emailed the seller they sent me a whole new outdoor compressor. I ordered the wiring harness from Della replaced it. The outdoor unit works fantastic now.
This was the third Della that I’ve installed at our house. The first one looked like I installed it the second looked much better but this one looks even better. I sent videos to marketing @della for you to see. With this one I’ve noticed certain design changes that make it easier to assemble.
This is a very well made air conditioner. Seems solidly built and the remote is impressive. The main reason I bought this was for efficiency and quiet operation - and it blew me away. Quietest portable AC i’ve ever used.
Easy installation of evaporator and condenser. Worked out between 2 buildings allowing 16 ft ac lines to be installed without rolling up extra length of lines. Used vacuum pump rental and all went correctly. Cools great, and heater functions great.
This della 18k mini split is amazing and it actually started cooling my garage with the door open on a 100* day. It dropped from 94 to 79 in 1 hour and still dropping.
My loft gets a bit warm, and plenty cold. Since its my wife's she-shed and craft space it has to be comfortable. The ultra hyper heat feature means instant relief when it falls to -20° and cooling air when it hits 95°.
Covering line sets is tricky on a log cabin. But i had enough parts to cleanly protect the lines. Now that everything is installed i think i will experiment with painting the cover.
I prefer a bracket that has a horizontal bar that will span between wall studs whether they are on 16 or 24 inch centers. This install was ok as the siding was strong enough to support the unit. Some lag bolts would be nice in lieu of concrete anchors.
I installed this in my mother’s house. She lives deep in the national forest and it’s hard for her to get service that isn’t ridiculously expensive. So I seen this on YouTube and decided to try it. I’m an hvac installer by trade and this product is amazing and compared to the brands I put in daily this can NOT be beat price wise and so far heating and cooling wise. It’s very humid where she lives and this handle it amazingly. Thx Della
I have lived in this house for 19 years without A/C because I have a boiler but now that it is installed my house feels GREAT. Nice and clean units, super quiet, what a pleasant surprise this Della mini split is. I highly recomend it to those of you who are considering getting one installed.
I have been very happy with our Della purchase. unit looks nice (air controller/head unit as well as condenser) We would gladly purchase from Della again.
Installation went super smooth! Machine works much better than the ZenAire I had before. My neighbor really appreciates how quite this one is compared to the previous one he brought over some fresh caught Hogg fish to thank me.
