What is the difference between R454B and R410A?

R454B is a new-generation eco-friendly refrigerant that complies with EPA regulations. It can replace the original R410A models, offering better performance and greater energy efficiency.

Can I get longer extensions for this installation kit?

Yes, you can purchase a longer lineset separately. If you buy it together with the Single Zone Mini split system, you’ll receive a 10% bundle discount. Please note, if the extended lineset is longer than 25 feet, additional refrigerant will be required. Make sure to consult a professional HVAC technician for proper installation.

When the unit is in auto mode, what will the room's temperature be maintained at?

In auto mode, the unit automatically switches between cooling and heating to maintain the set temperature. You can adjust the target temperature manually—typically between 60°F and 86°F —depending on your comfort.

Do the condenser lines come pre-vacuumed or do they have to be vacuumed?

The mini split condenser and lines are not pre-vacuumed. You will need to vacuum the system during installation to remove air and moisture before releasing the refrigerant—this is essential for proper operation and longevity. As both an installer and an owner, I can honestly say this is a very well-engineered product. The amount of attention given to even the smallest details is impressive and shows a real respect for the installer's time.Little things stand out immediately, such as the self-capturing rubber mounts with the bolts already aligned and ready to tighten. They even include a spirit level and clear, easy-to-follow instructions, which makes installation straightforward from the start.The indoor unit is equally well thought out. The mounting plate and unit fit together perfectly, and the removable bottom panel provides easy access to the latches when needed. It's obvious that considerable effort went into the design and usability of this system.Performance has been excellent so far. The unit is exceptionally quiet, and the temperatures are holding exactly where I set them. Overall, this is a quality product from a brand that clearly puts thought into both installation and day-to-day operation. Definitely a brand I would recommend.

My loft gets a bit warm, and plenty cold. Since its my wife's she-shed and craft space it has to be comfortable. The ultra hyper heat feature means instant relief when it falls to -20° and cooling air when it hits 95°.

Not putting one up before I think it took us a little bit longer than I expected. I think you could do a better job with a video on using the rental vacuum. I went to YouTube and found someone who had posted one and use that as my instructions.
