What is the difference between R454B and R410A?

R454B is a new-generation eco-friendly refrigerant that complies with EPA regulations. It can replace the original R410A models, offering better performance and greater energy efficiency.

Can I get longer extensions for this installation kit?

Yes, you can purchase a longer lineset separately. If you buy it together with the Single Zone Mini split system, you’ll receive a 10% bundle discount. Please note, if the extended lineset is longer than 25 feet, additional refrigerant will be required. Make sure to consult a professional HVAC technician for proper installation.

When the unit is in auto mode, what will the room's temperature be maintained at?

In auto mode, the unit automatically switches between cooling and heating to maintain the set temperature. You can adjust the target temperature manually—typically between 60°F and 86°F —depending on your comfort.

Do the condenser lines come pre-vacuumed or do they have to be vacuumed?

The mini split condenser and lines are not pre-vacuumed. You will need to vacuum the system during installation to remove air and moisture before releasing the refrigerant—this is essential for proper operation and longevity. This unit calls for a professional install as it is a 220-volt system. Total installation took about 3 hours with an electrician and an A/C technician doing a totally thorough and professional installation. Something I should have done 18 years ago. The system is very quiet and very efficient. I have been through 6 window units in 18 years. $600 to $800 each. Those units were ext.

DELLA Optima CloudAir Series 23000 BTU 23 SEER2 Ultra Heat Mini Split AC - Up to 1500 Sq.Ft.

I have this unit in a 24x30 garage. I know it's way overkill, but I wanted to make sure it stays cool in the summer, and it will get the garage under 60 degrees F. Didn't plan on using it much in the winter, but I set it to 68 and never turned it off. The shop is mainly insulated with 2x4 studs and 4'' of insulation in the ceiling. Doesn't use much power at all. I have this unit always on, another one always on in a smaller print room, and my large shop, which is mainly storage right now. My power bill is only $55 ish a month in yelm washington with Puget Sound Energy

I got the system with the 33 foot line sets, the control wire is in the lineset for the larger size. in the end I didnt need the 33 foot lineset I ordered but 28 foot so I was able to cut and flare to modify so that I didnt have coils sitting somewhere with the extra lineset. I did the vacuum and then released the refrigerant, Della said it is only up to 24.5 feet but the extra 3.5 feet the local AC guy said was not worth even trying to fill and he was right. it cools nicely and is very quite.
