The rental kit had all the correct tools needed to follow the installation instructions. The split unit works great and is a terrific upgrade to my garage.
The install was straight forward. This was my first mini split install. The directions were good and made it difficult to install wrong. The rental kit was a big help with tube inserts to prevent kinking the line set. I will change out the condensate drains for pvc.
Easy installation of evaporator and condenser. Worked out between 2 buildings allowing 16 ft ac lines to be installed without rolling up extra length of lines. Used vacuum pump rental and all went correctly. Cools great, and heater functions great.
I was very worried about leaks. After toquing the fittings and filled with trepidation, I opened the valves. It worked out fine and passed the soapy water test.
Hi, I am first time using that kind of tools. I think is easy handing I get the very good direction how use. So all installation is perfect. I like it.
Everything was brand new when I received my install kit, and it was very easy to complete my installation! I plan on keeping mine instead of returning it because I'm going to install another one! Great job Della!
If you are considering a DIY mini split I 100% recommend renting the DIY kit. I’ve never done a project like this and the DIY kit made this so much easier to complete.
Della Mini split with cassette was easy to install and the rental equipment was like new and worked very well. This is my first experience with Della and so far everything is working well. The instructions with the rental equipment could have a little more detail for the average homeowner. I am still giving 5 stars since all of the rental equipment worked so well.
The rental tools for the Della Mini split were really good - I could not have completed the install without them.
I did have a little trouble in that the adaptor for the vacuum line was attached to the vacuum pump inlet, which I did not notice until deciding I was missing a part and leaving the job for the day. After wracking my brain and closer examination, I found the adaptor and the install went very quickly the next day.
I do see in the picture that two vials of vacuum oil is the normal makeup of the kit. I only received one and it barely covered the minimum line on the pump.
The rental kit was beyond helpful!! The included instructions and technical videos made this a breeze (pun intended). Absolutely wonderful experience with Della I highly recommend them!! They even gave me a courtesy call before the rental period ended to make sure I didn’t have any issues or concerns.
This is my 4th Mini Split install. But by having the Della Install kit, this make the install much easier, Faster and increased confidence of the finished job. The included tubing bending kit made the tubing bends and chance of kinking the tubing non existant. The Vacuum pump was flawless, just add the included oil and ready to go.
Then the digital gauge. Much better the the regular analog gauge set I have. Turn the gauge on and it defaults to the correct range, Ready to start vacuuming.
This set also includes 2 sizes of too;s to properly remove the Scharder valve on the outside unit, this allows for a faster vacuuming of the system, The tool I have presses on the valve simialer to filling an auto tire, This slightly restricts (Vacuum) flow to the pump increasing vacuum time and chances of leaking during vacuuming and when removing fitting. This valve tool is a must. Best part of it all it's all furnished by Della For 7 days rental and return shipping is Prepaid. Mine went easy and great system works as expected. Then do it correctly and document everything and your install may include a Lifetime Della warrenty. Nuff Said .
I had to work out of town after I rented it so it took me a little over 3 weeks to get everything done since I was so far behind I didn't have time to video it , but it worked great held vacuum over a hour as I cooled down from the 103 temps we are having. Getting ready to buy a 5 ton unit from Della for our house it went out 2 days ago.
Very straight forward and easy to use. Doing the testing myself lets me know exactly what is going on with my system versus relying on what a tech tells me.
The rental kit was very helpful. The valve core removers, tubing benders, micron gauge and vacuum pump all did their jobs.
It would be helpful of you also included the analog gauges in case someone needs to add refrigerant. I had to make a custom hose to accomplish this.
The instruction/installation manual needs an overhaul, however. Several steps are missing and made for a very frustrating experience. I ended up renting the install kit twice because I ran out of time during the initial install and had to schedule a separate time to complete all the work required.
Finally got the system turned on and all 3 units are performing well. Really happy with the finished product.
Could not have done it with out this equipment & not having to purchase expensive tools I might never use again. Made the install go so much easier & quicker having the right good quality tools
The kit is awesome, almost everything you need to do an installation. Vacuum pump is really nice and the kit includes tube benders. Interesting torque wrench but it works.
It only came with 1 bottle of oil, your picture on sales shows 2, 1 bottle barely gets it too the minimum fill line......I guess everything else is good, it's running great thanks to the rental kit! I sent in my warranty info , the link for the install video is only good for 2 days....., please ket me know i got my Life time warranty.
Great DIY installation kit. I used it to install a 2 ton heat pump, only needed one adapter fitting for the small apion valve core removal tool.
Everything worked perfectly! I saved 10k doing the purchase and install myself.

Overall Della Ceiling Cassette 18000 BTU installation was a breeze has all the features which I wanted, and cools the rooms extremely fast, we installed in the garage, still was able to cool our 3 car garage in minutes. Rental kit made it even more easier, very happy with the Della AC/Heat pump
