What kind of refrigerant does this unit use?

This unit uses R32 refrigerant. This unit comes pre-charged with R32 refrigerant for up to 24.5 feet of lineset. If your installation does not exceed this length, no additional refrigerant is needed.

Can I get longer extensions for this installation kit?

Yes, you can purchase a longer lineset separately. If you buy it together with the Single Zone Mini split system, you’ll receive a 10% bundle discount. Please note, if the extended lineset is longer than 25 feet, additional refrigerant will be required. Make sure to consult a professional HVAC technician for proper installation.

When the unit is in auto mode, what will the room's temperature be maintained at?

When auto mode is turned on, the ac will start the unit's cooling mode to begin cooling until the target temp is met. After that, the unit will switch to dry mode for a short time. The final step switches to the fan-only mode that saves energy.

Do the condenser lines come pre-vacuumed or do they have to be vacuumed?

The mini split condenser and lines are not pre-vacuumed. You will need to vacuum the system during installation to remove air and moisture before releasing the refrigerant—this is essential for proper operation and longevity. You can use our Rental Kit Service, which includes all the necessary tools for vacuuming and installing your mini split.

DELLA Serena CloudAir Series 9800 BTU 22 SEER2 Mini Split Heat Pump AC - Up to 400 Sq.Ft.

My first mini split failed. Customer service was great. They walked me through a diagnosis and determined that most likely the PCB was bad and sent a replacement, when that did not work they sent another one before condemning the compressor. They were prepared to send me out a compressor, but a Compressor replacement was beyond my ability to repair so they gave me a fairly substantial discount on a new replacement unit. As I said customer service is fantastic, but warehouse shipping was slow and a little frustrating for me and customer service representatives. Install is straight forward as long as you are handy and have a few tools. Watching some videos is also very helpful.
