What kind of refrigerant does this unit use?

This unit uses R32 refrigerant. This unit comes pre-charged with R32 refrigerant for up to 24.5 feet of lineset. If your installation does not exceed this length, no additional refrigerant is needed.

Can I get longer extensions for this installation kit?

Yes, you can purchase a longer lineset separately. If you buy it together with the Single Zone Mini split system, you’ll receive a 10% bundle discount. Please note, if the extended lineset is longer than 25 feet, additional refrigerant will be required. Make sure to consult a professional HVAC technician for proper installation.

When the unit is in auto mode, what will the room's temperature be maintained at?

In auto mode, the unit automatically switches between cooling and heating to maintain the set temperature. You can adjust the target temperature manually—typically between 60°F and 86°F —depending on your comfort.

Do the condenser lines come pre-vacuumed or do they have to be vacuumed?

The mini split condenser and lines are not pre-vacuumed. You will need to vacuum the system during installation to remove air and moisture before releasing the refrigerant—this is essential for proper operation and longevity. You can use our Rental Kit Service, which includes all the necessary tools for vacuuming and installing your mini split.

I installed this in my mother’s house. She lives deep in the national forest and it’s hard for her to get service that isn’t ridiculously expensive. So I seen this on YouTube and decided to try it. I’m an hvac installer by trade and this product is amazing and compared to the brands I put in daily this can NOT be beat price wise and so far heating and cooling wise. Unit functions great. I completed all of the bracket mounting, outside stand and condenser installation, penetrations in the concrete block, etc. I then had my HVAC service technician complete all of the refrigerant connections, vacuum the line set, check for leaks, make the final control connections, etc. I replaced the included batteries that came with the remote with brand-new batteries before I ever started the unit.
