I got it to keep my bedroom cool at night since i have no AC and we are having hotter weather than normal. Best decision i ever made. It also helps blow cool air down the hall into the front room. A bit noisier than i expected since it was listed as running on the same decimals as a refrigerator, but at night i put it on low and its fine.
