This unit uses R454B refrigerant. This unit comes pre-charged with R454B refrigerant for up to 24.5 feet of lineset. If your installation does not exceed this length, no additional refrigerant is needed.
R454B is a new-generation eco-friendly refrigerant that complies with EPA regulations. It can replace the original R410A models, offering better performance and greater energy efficiency.
Yes, you can purchase a longer lineset separately. If you buy it together with the Single Zone Mini split system, you’ll receive a 10% bundle discount. Please note, if the extended lineset is longer than 25 feet, additional refrigerant will be required. Make sure to consult a professional HVAC technician for proper installation.
In auto mode, the unit automatically switches between cooling and heating to maintain the set temperature. You can adjust the target temperature manually—typically between 60°F and 86°F —depending on your comfort.
The mini split condenser and lines are not pre-vacuumed. You will need to vacuum the system during installation to remove air and moisture before releasing the refrigerant—this is essential for proper operation and longevity. You can use our Rental Kit Service, which includes all the necessary tools for vacuuming and installing your mini split.

I am so impressed with our Della 12,000 BTU 115V mini split! It is whisper quiet, was straight forward to install, and the support from the company was phenomenal. I highly recommend using the rental kit that they provide as everything you need is included in the kit. This mini split is for our garage to provide heating and cooling. With the scorcher heat wave this week, it has worked wonderfully to keep our garage nice and cool. I tested out the heat mode the week before during a cold spell and everything worked perfectly. I’m so happy to have used Della on this purchase and will highly consider their products for our home.
I bought this unit in May of 2023 and finally had it installed today. It's in a 420 sf uninsulated garage. Today was about 98 degrees with a heat index of about 105. This unit was able to keep the garage at 72 degrees in the hottest part of the afternoon. I like the flexibility of the adjustable direction airflow. The remote is user-friendly. We'll see how well it heats in the winter. The installer was surprised at how inclusive the installation kit was and commented that it appeared to be a decent unit.
It's also pretty quiet compared to the old window unit a/c I had before.
Hopefully, this unit will provide years of service. 5 stars so far. If anything changes, I will try to update this review.
I am a service technician for a mechanical contractor and install and service all brands. This was 1/4 of the cost a major brand name. Over the years I have found that you are mostly paying for the name. Support on all brands tend to be lacking. This is so much cheaper I can replace the entire one if I can’t fix it myself. Seem to be cooling OK, bit of a challenge for a novice to install, but pleased with the outcome. The outside unit came with a small dent in the cover, works fine so happy. Cooling just over 500 Sq ft.

I finished installing the second system and it works as well if not better than the first. I only needed our son's help to vacuum out the lines. We now have 2 cooling and heating our 32 ft 5th wheel trailer that is permanently set up in central Wisconsin, they work great!
I do a lot of DIY stuff and let me tell ya this one is definitely one of the most difficult things I've had to do yet but worth it in the end if you know what you're doing! Overall it works better than I thought. It keeps my mobile home at temp throughout the entire house and doesn't turn on and off a lot like others do. The controls are easy to use and work amazingly with Alexa. Definitely a 10/10 and definitely recommend it. My only wish is I get the multi-zone so I can have one in my room and living room.
We have a small shop that we desired to have as a conditioned workspace, so installed this. It works great in winter or summer. The heating bill with this on it is only about $30/month. Would be so much higher and disgusting to have one of those kerosene heaters, or electric heaters. So, you get heat and air in one clean, nice unit.
The remote functions perfectly. Now, I need to extend my home's wireless to cover the shop, and then I can control the unit with my phone. Been using it in summer & winter now for many months. Kept the unit at 65o most of the winter and it was perfectly warm in there. Had an electrical engineer buddy of mine install it. He also had me purchase a mini split protective line cover kit for the exterior lines, and he constructed a shelf to keep the outdoor part of the mini split about 5 feet off the ground, in case of snow drifts (we don't get a lot of snow, but it's always good to be cautious).
I have these in 2 rooms. I replaced our A/C only unit for this one and I'm so happy I did. It works great. Both heat and cool.I had Klimaire and it went out after 10 months in the middle of July. We replaced the control panel on the indoor and outdoor unit with no luck. So I bought another Della like we had in the other room. I love it!!
I was on the fense about one of these units for years. My 27x18 shop has no ceiling insulation, so I wasn't sure something like this could even keep up. So far since installation and initial cool down its maintained 71 degrees no issues in 90 degree heat. Even moving hot racecars in and out its managed to keep up. I'm sure it will only get better when we finish insulating the roof. Unit is quiet and seems to be working quite well. Only thing I haven't messed with yet is the wifi so I can't speak to that but that aside this thing is perfect.
If you have some basic DIY skills and tools, you should be able to do this yourself. Install is pretty simple. It blows ice cold air. It really is whisper quiet. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to do great at dehumidification.I've had it running for hours, the air coming out feels cold and dry, but the humidity is sitting at over 70%. So far, I am happy with this purchase though. I will update as needed if I have any issues.
If anyone is having doubts about this unit let me say this, this little 115 volt 12,000 btu unit has my 12x20 building cooled down to 65 degrees! Yes I have the buulding insulated, and yes for the unit to work it has to be vacuumed first no if ands or buts! Once the vacuum was performed this machine was blowing cold air in less than 30 seconds and the cool part about it the technician said that everyone he has vacuumed had freon already in it! Bonus points for that for sure! The wires are numbered and let me be clear, there's a guy on YouTube with this exact model and an install video fully detailed. Glad I chose this unit and most definitely will buy again when I have my second office space built.
